June Link Love 2013

June has been simultaneously busy and quiet, hectic and relaxing. After a few fun weeks of traveling, exploring new places, celebrating birthdays and weddings, and visiting with family, I landed at home with nothing much in particular to do. While both halves of my month have been gratifying and fulfililng, I must say that I’ve been relishing the unstructured, open-ended time that this summer has afforded me thus far.

Much of it has been spent writing new blog posts, researching and experimenting with fun recipes, and planning and working towards the upcoming opening of my Etsy store (date TBD)!!! I feel grateful to have this restorative time to rest after a strenuous first year of graduate school. I’ve been enjoying spending time outdoors and have been absolutely LOVING the rewarding experience of planting and maintaining a community garden plot! All-in-all, I must say that life is treating me well, and for that I am very grateful.
